My Story

Life started in the southern suburbs of Littleton Colorado.  An only child of two western civilization teachers my love of history, philosophy, and the arts were almost innate.  Throughout life colonial insects, space, and science fiction such as Halo drove me towards my own creative realm.  A love of drawing, universe building, and later in life, reading defines my being.  As with many passions in life it doesn’t economically present itself as feasible, which is why I am an EMT and Lifeguard.  I now reside in Huntington Beach California, as a Beach lifeguard and Head of the HB State Junior guard program.  I care for this country, all who live in it, and consistently seek conversations that draw deep thinking and existence.

For this I continue to pursue the arts.  Of my own and that which has come before.  I love classical music, rock, and the poetry of nonmainstream hip-hop.   Shostakovich, Stravinsky, and Wagner dominate much of the acoustic space when I write and draw.  Hitchens, Nietzsche, and Kant are the shoulders my philosophical pursuits stand upon.  I constantly debate with self and through my own literature the big question.  Do we have free will?  Why does the universe exist?  Is our perception of linear time a human ineptitude?  For these loves, and my dear wife drive me through reality when I am not patrolling the beach to ensure that life continues for the many who visit the ocean. For when I am not, I am visiting the ocean of stars within my dreams.
